Code of Conduct

Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

We as members, contributors, and leaders pledge to make participation in our
community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body
size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender
identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status,
nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity
and orientation.

We pledge to act and interact in ways that contribute to an open, welcoming,
diverse, inclusive, and healthy community that fosters innovation and collaboration.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment for our
community include:

    1. Demonstrating empathy and kindness toward other people

    2. Being respectful of differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences

    3. Giving and gracefully accepting constructive feedback

    4. Accepting responsibility and apologizing to those affected by our mistakes,

    5. and learning from the experience
    6. Focusing on what is best not just for us as individuals, but for the

    7. overall community and project success
    8. Showing appreciation and recognition for the contributions of others

    9. Being professional and courteous in all interactions

    10. Respecting the time and effort of volunteers and maintainers
    11. Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

    12. The use of sexualized language or imagery, and sexual attention or

    13. advances of any kind
    14. Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks

    15. Public or private harassment, stalking, or following

    16. Publishing others' private information, such as a physical or email

    17. address, without their explicit permission
    18. Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a

    19. professional setting
    20. Disrespecting differing viewpoints or experiences

    21. Graceless acceptance of constructive criticism

    22. Blaming others for mistakes without taking responsibility

    23. Harassing individuals or groups, either publicly or privately

    24. Advocating for or encouraging any of the above behavior
    25. Enforcement Responsibilities

      Community leaders are responsible for clarifying and enforcing our standards of
      acceptable behavior and will take appropriate and fair corrective action in
      response to any behavior that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive,
      or harmful.

      Community leaders have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject
      comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that are
      not aligned to this Code of Conduct, and will communicate reasons for moderation
      decisions when appropriate.

      Community leaders will also:

    26. Investigate all reports of violations promptly and thoroughly

    27. Maintain confidentiality with regard to the reporter of an incident

    28. Apply disciplinary measures that are proportional to the severity of the violation

    29. Provide clear communication about the steps taken to resolve incidents

    30. Document all enforcement actions for future reference
    31. Scope

      This Code of Conduct applies within all community spaces, and also applies when
      an individual is officially representing the community in public spaces.
      Examples of representing our community include using an official e-mail address,
      posting via an official social media account, or acting as an appointed
      representative at an online or offline event.

      This Code of Conduct also applies to:

    32. GitHub repositories and discussions

    33. Discord servers and other communication channels

    34. Conferences, meetups, and other events

    35. Social media interactions related to the project

    36. Professional relationships arising from project participation

    37. Private correspondence related to project matters
    38. Enforcement

      Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be
      reported to the community leaders responsible for enforcement at
      founder@nbr.company.

      All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.

      All community leaders are obligated to respect the privacy and security of the
      reporter of any incident.

      Reporting Guidelines

      When reporting an incident, please include:

    39. Your contact information

    40. Names of individuals involved

    41. Description of the incident

    42. Date and time of the incident

    43. Location of the incident (if applicable)

    44. Any additional context or evidence
    45. Reports can be submitted:

    46. By email to: founder@nbr.company

    47. Through the project's Discord moderation team

    48. By contacting any community leader directly

    49. Through GitHub's reporting tools for repository-related issues
    50. Confidentiality

      All reports will be kept confidential. The privacy of all parties involved will be respected throughout the investigation process.

      Enforcement Guidelines

      Community leaders will follow these Community Impact Guidelines in determining
      the consequences for any action they deem in violation of this Code of Conduct:

      1. Correction

      Community Impact: Use of inappropriate language or other behavior deemed
      unprofessional or unwelcome in the community.

      Consequence: A private, written warning from community leaders, providing
      clarity around the nature of the violation and an explanation of why the
      behavior was inappropriate. A public apology may be requested.

      2. Warning

      Community Impact: A violation through a single incident or series
      of actions.

      Consequence: A warning with consequences for continued behavior. No
      interaction with the people involved, including unsolicited interaction with
      those enforcing the Code of Conduct, for a specified period of time. This
      includes avoiding interactions in community spaces as well as external channels
      like social media. Violating these terms may lead to a temporary or
      permanent ban.

      3. Temporary Ban

      Community Impact: A serious violation of community standards, including
      sustained inappropriate behavior.

      Consequence: A temporary ban from any sort of interaction or public
      communication with the community for a specified period of time. No public or
      private interaction with the people involved, including unsolicited interaction
      with those enforcing the Code of Conduct, is allowed during this period.
      Violating these terms may lead to a permanent ban.

      4. Permanent Ban

      Community Impact: Demonstrating a pattern of violation of community
      standards, including sustained inappropriate behavior, harassment of an
      individual, or aggression toward or disparagement of classes of individuals.

      Consequence: A permanent ban from any sort of public interaction within
      the community.

      Additional Policies

      Anti-Harassment Policy

      We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form.

      Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

    51. Verbal comments that reinforce social structures of domination

    52. Sexual images in public spaces

    53. Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following

    54. Harassing photography or recording

    55. Sustained disruption of talks or other events

    56. Inappropriate physical contact

    57. Unwelcome sexual attention

    58. Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior
    59. Inclusivity Policy

      We are committed to creating an inclusive environment that welcomes and supports participants from all backgrounds. This includes:

    60. Providing accommodations for individuals with disabilities

    61. Ensuring materials are accessible

    62. Using inclusive language in all communications

    63. Respecting diverse perspectives and experiences

    64. Creating opportunities for participation by all community members
    65. Professionalism Policy

      All community interactions should be conducted with professionalism, including:

    66. Treating all participants with respect and courtesy

    67. Focusing on constructive feedback and improvement

    68. Avoiding personal attacks or inflammatory language

    69. Maintaining appropriate boundaries in all interactions

    70. Representing the community positively in public forums
    71. Appeal Process

      Those subject to moderation actions may appeal by:

    72. Submitting a written appeal to founder@nbr.company within 7 days of the action

    73. Providing additional context or evidence that was not considered

    74. Participating in a review meeting with community leaders if requested

    75. Accepting the final decision of the community leaders
    76. The appeal process will be completed within 14 days of receiving the appeal.

      Community Impact

      The health and growth of our community depends on creating a safe, welcoming, and productive environment for all participants. This Code of Conduct helps ensure that everyone can participate fully and contribute to the success of the project.

      By fostering a respectful and inclusive community, we can:
